The UK Climate Change Committee has now set a target of an 80% reduction in carbon emissions if we want to avoid serious consequences around the world, such as mass migrations of people and conflict over resources. This was reported on the BBC 1 news, 'Newsnight' and the BBC news channel.

The target has been set, but not the way to get there - and the discussion of climate change and carbon emissions on the BBC this week did not even mention the global livestock industry!
Email the BBC and tell them that livestock farming is a major cause of carbon emissions; also send emails to DEFRA and to your MP, and write a letter to the Prime Minister!
