On 19th September, Animal Aid posted a news alert on their web-site about the European Commission's decision to yet again postpone revision of Directive 86/609/EEC, the 20-year-old legislation which controls the use of animals in experiments.
Please tell the Commission that you are disappointed by its continued failure to improve the protection of laboratory animals in Europe. Email Stavros Dimas, Commissioner for the Environment, and urge him to publish the proposed revision of Directive 86/609/EEC immediately.
