On 3rd September, we will be meeting up at the Colchester Friends' Meeting-house for a 'something and chips' evening (details on event page on this web-site).
2008 is the year of the potato, and so we are going to celebrate the great British chip - by sharing chips and what we all like to eat with our chips!
The real point of the evening is to provide exciting alternatives to the basic British fish and chips. Commercial fishing is indefensible - it causes suffering to many millions of fish and other species and is destroying the oceans. We must all give up eating fish and fish products.
All welcome. Please bring something to eat with the chips; all food must be vegan.
