'food vs feed' - new online petition to U.N.

On the European Vegetarian and Animal News Alliance (EVANA) web-site, there is a link to a new online petition - 'food vs feed' - to the United Nations. The petition has been set up by a Swedish Member of the European Parliament, the Swiss Union for Vegetarianism and EVANA. The petition concludes: '... we appeal to the United Nations and its agencies to stop ignoring vegetarianism and instead study its multi-faceted benefits, with the aim of incorporating them into future strategies for a world without hunger ...'.
