Animal Aid's 'Compassionate Charter'

Animal Aid's 'Compassionate Charter - eight achievable steps to help animals, people and the planet' can be used by your council as guidelines. Please contact your local councillors and the Chief Executives of your borough/district and county council asking them to implement it in your area.
York City Council was the first in the UK to pass a motion condemning the sale of foie gras and banning the sale of the pâté from its premises, and other councils soon followed, while Leicester City Council has adopted an ethical purchasing policy and now buys only non-animal tested products.
