On Saturday 5th July, 'The Times' published a double-page feature on two vegetarians who became meat-eaters, one of whom later returned to vegetarianism - the feature was titled 'The carnivore vs the vegetarian'. Amanda Ursell, 'The Times'' nutritionist, also analysed their diets. The feature presents a discussion of vegetarianism and meat-eating, including factors such as cruelty and the environment, although not the global food crisis.
