Murdered sheep

A pregnant ewe was kicked and stabbed to death over Easter in Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk. The sheep was taken from Polka Road, kicked and stabbed with a pitchfork, dragged through the streets, and then dumped in a wheelie bin. Police found the dead sheep after following a trail of blood through the town. Five teenage boys were arrested in connection with the horrible crime and later released on bail pending further inquiries.
This was an extra cruelty, additional to the barbarities of the livestock industry - especially its exploitation of mothers and babies - and, occurring over Easter, seems to make of the victim a real sacrificial lamb...
