A traditional family pub. which does only vegetarian food! - run by vegetarian Jan Wise. The Red Lion has a large garden and a car-park. In the summer you can dine al fresco.
Some dishes on the menu are vegan and some are vegan adaptable.
The food is very tasty and very attractively presented. Vegan options in April 2008 included sweet potato soup, tempura vegetables, aubergine stuffed with cous-cous, summer pudding, and fruit sorbets.
The Red Lion has now won the Vegetarian Society's Best Pub. Award for 2008.
