We would like to invite you to a talk by local vegan athlete Graham White on vegans and sport.
There will be time for questions at the end, to be followed by hot/cold drinks and a chat. Free admission.
All welcome.
Graham is vegan and has not eaten meat for over 30 years. He has been an active athlete for about 30 years, progressing from 10km and 10-mile races to marathon, and then onto ultra distance running (where he probably got into the top ten in the country). From running ultra distance - anything over a marathon but including 100km and 100-mile races - he moved on to triathlons (swim, bike, run). He has been most successful at duathlons (run, bike, run) and has represented Great Britain for his age in the World Championships on three occasions. He is now becoming more successful at triathlons, and his best distance is probably half 'Iron Man' (1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, 13.1-mile run). Graham lives with his family just over the Essex border in Suffolk.
