eat Green
Viva!'s
new campaign, from April 2009, is eat Green
!
This new campaign aims to promote eating Green for the sake of the environment; there is a really interesting new web-site and also a new Viva! leaflet 'eat Green' (picture below). The web-site includes sections such as 'eat Green', 'Green your life, ' and 'save their world'.
The introduction to the web-site says:
'... Welcome to Eat Green, where you can find out everything you need to know about eco-eating!
Awareness is growing about the things we can do for the environment, from flying and driving less, to recycling and using energy-efficient appliances.
However, one of the most effective ways of cutting our carbon footprints and saving animals is to be energy-efficient eaters, too. If we change our diets we can change the world!
The Eat Green campaign shows that one of the most environmentally-friendly actions you can take is to cut out meat and dairy.
Find out how we can help save our biodiversity, cut our carbon emissions, protect our planet and ultimately ourselves! ...'
